Wind the bobbin' up

'Wind the bobbin up!' is one of the songs you can use in an everyday basis if you have very young learners in your ESL class.

When you don't have the children's full attention you can start singing it with movements that will catch their eyes so more and more of them is going to join in and follow whatever you are doing. You can repeat the song if once is not enough to make your young ones focus.

Wind the bobbin' up

Wind the bobbin' up!
Wind the bobbin' up!
Pull, pull, clap, clap, clap!

Point to the ceiling,
Point to the floor!
Point to the window,
Point to the door!

Clap your hands together
One, two, three!

Put your hands down
On your knees!
